Mansell McTaggart Expands: New branch opens in Ringmer.

We are excited to announce that we have expanded the Mansell McTaggart network with the opening of a brand-new branch in the village of Ringmer. This exciting development marks another milestone in our journey of growth and commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.

Under the directorship of David Lee, our Lewes branch opened in June 2022 and very quickly established itself as the number 1 leading estate agency in the area. Close by, the village of Ringmer had two successful estate agencies, but one of them recently closed their doors following the sale of the company. Given Mansell McTaggart Lewes already sell a good number of properties in Ringmer, it made perfect sense to extend our personal, tailored service to Ringmer buyers and home movers with a local presence in the heart of the village.

The new branch in Ringmer will have a seasoned team of experts; David Lee and Paul Sains (Directors) with 56 years of experience between them and James Wootten (Sales Manager) who brings with him 5 years experience in Sussex estate agency under a national brand. They all live in the local area. The team is supported by Michelle Riley, also with local knowledge and expertise and together they are commited to making your property journey smooth and successful.

Our buyers and sellers deserve to work with experienced agents, who remove the mystery and stress. After all, a home sale or purchase is usually the single largest financial transaction any of us will usually undertake. In Ringmer, we bring our expertise closer to your home.

Located in a prominent position at 74 Springett Avenue, Ringmer, BN8 5QX in the parade in the heart of the village, we have a fully refurbished office and a warm welcome ready when you are, for your next chapter.

Ringmer is considered to be one of the largest villages in East Sussex. A village with a great sense of community and plenty to offer for those who want to take part, yet peaceful enough to enjoy the more rural surrounding for those that prefer the quieter village lifestyle.

Located in the heart of the village is a parade of well serviced, mostly independent shops, including a popular butchers, a Café, a bakery and the Morrisons Local houses the local Post Office. The village also offers a coffee shop, hairdressers, dentist, modern health centre and a pharmacy.

The village is flanked by South Downs National Park. There are beautiful and iconic walks all around and at the highest point, between Ringmer and Glynde provides magnificent far reaching views to the River Ouse, the Ashdown Forest and across Lewes.

Ringmer hosts a plethora of sports and activity clubs catering for all ages including a football team, stoolball, cricket, bowls, croquet. More leisurely pursuits and clubs are held at the village hall, everything from amateur dramatics, to yoga or even the local history club. Nearby Lewes offers further options including golf, rugby, tennis, swimming, cycling and athletics to name a few.

The Anchor Inn and The Green Man public houses are popular choices within the village, with The Cock Inn located on the outskirts, with all three offering dining and traditional pub gardens to be enjoyed in fairer weather.

Ringmer boasts both Primary and Secondary Schools. Minibus services are also provided by Bedes and Lewes Old Grammar School.

There are regular and direct public bus services from the village with destinations to Lewes, Brighton, Uckfield, Tunbridge Wells, and Eastbourne, these all provide routes to higher education.

The Village Green is home to a number of the sports clubs and features a wildlife pond and children’s recreation ground. A new skate park and updated children’s play area can be found to the North of the village at Fingerpost Field.

Lewes is just a stones throw away and easily accessible by car, bus, cycle or walking along a designated cycle path situated at the foot of the South Downs. Further afield but still within easy access is the city of Brighton which can be reached after a short drive along the A27 (approximately 15 minutes).
