Is Cuckfield a nice place to live?

Cuckfield is a lively and friendly village which offers a superb lifestyle for people looking for a village atmosphere with the convenience of excellent transport links to London, Haywards Heath, and Gatwick Airport.

There is both a highly sought-after primary and secondary school in this picturesque village, along with various nursery schools.

Cuckfield is small but perfectly formed, and no matter where you live in the village, you’re never more than a 15 minute walk from the bustling High Street which has a range of boutique shops selling everything from vintage furniture, homewares and gifts, to jewellery and pre-loved designer clothing, plus organic and locally sourced produce.

The village is also home to no fewer than four pubs, including the family-run Rose and Crown and The Talbot (a great gastropub).

There are also four cafes including the Gardenia whose cream teas and choice of over 20 delicious home-baked sweet and savoury scones are a must!

The railway station at nearby Haywards Heath provides fast access to the centre of London in just 50 minutes and the village is only a 25 minute drive from Gatwick Airport and 20 minutes from Brighton for a day at the seaside.
